Food & Bio International, derived from The Association of Overseas Chinese Food Professionals (AOCFP) which was established on February 13, 2018, by expanding its industry scope and diversifying its member background to be a global independent, non-profit organization, comprised of professionals working or studying in the global food, biotechnology and biopharma industries.
The association aims to provide a platform for professionals to communicate, share, and discuss industry information and trends. It also helps members integrate more quickly into global job markets, offering career development guidance and promotes global cooperation within the target industries.

Currently it has over 350 members from Europe, North America, Oceania, and China. Members connect, help, inspire, and motivate each other through various online and offline events organized by the association.

More than 50% of the association's members hold or are pursuing PhD degrees from world-renowned universities, and around 40% are professionals employed in the food and related industries' enterprises and research institutions.
